John McMenamin, Jr., was born and raised in Geneva NY which is in the Finger Lakes region of the State, now the middle of wine Country. John graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1998 which is located in the shadow of New York City in the city of Hackensack, NJ with a degree in Journalism.
John graduated from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL in 2002. After becoming licensed in 2002, straight out of law school he worked with a New Port Richey Law Firm, primarily handling sinkhole, hurricane, fire, lightning and other Property Insurance claims for home and commercial property owners as well as condominium associations.
During his employment from 2002 until 2013, John created many of the Legal Arguments and Court level Motions which ultimately led to cutting edge Case law in the area of Property Insurance in the State of Florida. As of 2010, John became a Partner in that Law Firm until his departure in 2013 to pursue other opportunities. As an Attorney for a larger Tampa based Law firm, he continued his practice until 2014 when he decided to begin his own Law Firm.
McMenamin Law Group, P.A. was then founded in the fall of 2014 to “get back to basics” and provide more personalized attention to Clients while offering the benefit of more than 12 years of experience in Property Insurance Dispute Litigation.
John lives in Tarpon Springs with his wife and two children since 2005.
